<p>Whether it's the single or dual oil catch can, they will both empty the same way.  Just follow the guidelines below to keep your oil catch can emptied regularly.  We recommend the catch can be emptied every 30 days in operation of outside temperatures being 35+ Deg F.  If driving and parking in temps below freezing for any amount of consecutive days, it is highly recommended to empty the can every 3-4 days because of filling up with condensation.</p>
<p>Grab the bottom of the can with your hand.  Twist the bottom counter-clockwise to separate the bottom half from the top half.  Pour out the contents into an oil-safe container.  Dispose according to local/state laws.  Attach bottom to the top portion by twisting clockwise until the two pieces are fully touching together.&nbsp;</p>
