Using the EK1 Pro as a Calibration Device

The EK1Pro can be used to load a calibration (commonly referred to as a "tune") to your vehicle.

Our Calibration Engineer will reach out to you via email with more detailed instructions upon purchasing a calibration, but here is a summary of the steps will be taken to get your ECU updated with the new file:

1. Read the OEM file using the EK1Pro*.
2. Save that OEM file to the included microSD card.
3. Use the included microSD card reader on your phone or use a built-in microSD card reader on a PC to save the file locally.
4. Using the email chain from our Calibration Engineer, send in your OEM file that you saved locally.
5. Wait for our engineer to modify the file and send it back.
6. Save the new file to the microSD card using the included microSD card reader on your phone or use a built-in microSD card reader on a PC.
7. Use the EK1Pro to upload the new file to your ECU.
